Dog ruffs

Hey guys, Hugo here to show some rough dog sketches for the research & design stage of the new "Kleeman and Mike" animated short. BTW thank you so much to all who donated and/or shared & reposted! These are pretty realistic still so we probably won't go with them and there's still more design to do. They were done digitally in Adobe Flash using the brush tool on a Wacom Cintiq so they're all vector. Hope you like!

Getting back

Hugo here, sorry for the lack of updates! I am just getting back to creating art after Winter Break and George will have a table at Megacon this weekend (go check him out and buy a print from him or say hi if you see me walking around on Sunday). A sneak peek of my latest piece is in my blog here and I'll post the final bigger version tomorrow at the show.

Holiday card sketch

Hey guys, Hugo here again. So sorry about not posting in a while! December gets pretty crazy at work with trying to squeeze in a monthly class between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Anyway,  I thought I'd post the sketches I used for my Holiday card this year. Once it's done, I'll post the link here to the final version in my personal blog so you guys can also see it. I was inspired this year by one of my favorites, illustrator Jim Flora. He was a very minimalist and graphic illustrator from the 50's and 60's who illustrated many jazz record covers around those times. I sketched it in parts so that I could assemble the composition later.

Skateboard Progress

I know it's been a while since I've posted. I've been crazy busy with production work on ESPN Winter X games. This skateboard is the update to my fist post. I still need to add the crazy chickens behind him and a little flare. About 75% done i think. Enjoy Guys!

Soccer boy

Hey guys, Hugo here again. George will be posting soon, he's been pretty busy art directing this year's ESPN Winter X-Games at Full Sail and his day gig there.

This week I'm posting a drawing and final illustration of my 1st nephew Levi for his 3rd birthday card (home made), finished last week. This is all digital done in Photoshop with an older Wacom Cintiq 21UX. I'll post the final card with text later this week on my blog. Hope you enjoy!
